our mission statement

The mission of OZ School of Massage (OSOM) is to provide quality education and graduate skilled, qualified, and well-trained individuals ready to launch a successful career in Massage Therapy. The aspiration that guides OSOM is to create a safe, supportive, introspective and fun learning environment, while celebrating the diversity, uniqueness, and beauty of each individual body, heart, mind, and spirit.

the oz difference

individual attention

It can be difficult at times to get the 1x1 time you need with an instructor. Here at OZ, our classes are always small, which allows us to really help our students prepare for state licensing. The student is always our #1 priority.

holistic approach

We believe the body, mind, heart, and spirit are interconnected. We teach holistic healing and include education in numerous energy healing modalities, including acupressure, polarity therapy, chakra balancing, healing with gemstones and essential oils, and more.

slower-paced

Our program is 18 months to allow for deeper absorption and integration of the material.

career focused

Our students learn to care for their own well-being first and foremost to be their best and serve others well. We teach self-care, boundaries, and other life skills that are vital in this field. We spend significant time preparing each student for a successful career, from resume help & interview skills to business techniques & networking tips.

flexible schedule

It can be difficult to put life on hold for a year while going to school. Our classes meet in intensive periods, one weekend a month. Study time and hands-on practicum work are flexible, enabling students to attend while holding jobs and leading full lives.

in-house supervision

Our students get plenty of hands-on clinical time, working with the public in a supervised setting and receiving feedback.
